《冥海禁地》改编自潘海根同名热门小说，这是国内首个海洋探险系列IP，也是第一部展现神秘“海捞者”疍家人的水上传奇生活的IP项目。电影以探险寻宝为主题，融合了航海、冒险、怪兽等多种热点元素，围绕着海底城之谜展开，讲述了疍民之后卞海生、灵药岛岛主之女安素等一行人从海上探险深入到海底城探秘的过程中所经历的种种奇遇。

　　恐怖分子企图劫持横越大西洋的夜间班机，身怀怪病的女子因而被迫亲上火线。为了保护儿子，她必须让黑暗的祕密曝光，释放出她一直设法压抑在体内的怪物。
