Playdate is based on American/Norwegian author Dahl’s (no relation to Roald Dahl) fourth novel.
　　In Playdate, a seemingly ordinary decision turns the world of Elisa, mum to two young kids, upside down. When Elisa’s nine-year-old daughter asks to go on an overnight playdate with her new best friend, Elisa agrees. But when she says goodnight to her daughter, she has no idea that she is about to be thrust into every parent’s worst nightmare, and when Elisa goes to pick her up, she discovers that the beautiful house was a holiday rental, while her daughter has disappeared. 　　继前两季之后，BBC继续推出了小不列颠的第三季。主演还是两位活宝，但是客串的演员一直是走马观花，不停的有新人出现。第三季继承了前两季的幽默风格，增加了新的搞笑片断。不过个人以为LB是呈下滑趋势的，因为搞笑的段子重复的太多了，而且经常是一成不变。虽然幽默的风格保持一贯，但有些东西看的多了就不觉的搞笑了。希望BBC再以后会有新的突破。

The suspect in that case, Frederick Redpath, was at Hillian's house the day he died and that chapter from the manuscript is missing. There are other suspects however, including Hillian's ghost writer who will now receive all of the book's royalties; a handyman who was working on the property; and Redpath's daughter, who knew the little girl who was killed all those years before. Morse comes into conflict with with a colleague DCI Dawson, who was one of Hillian's protégés, as they again look into the little girl's death.
